Grenier even mocked up some second-screen functionality for the Netflix iPad app, allowing users to tweet about titles they’re currently watching and even buy things related to a movie or a show.

It’s unlikely that the Netflix iPad app would ever get such a radical overhaul — Netflix famously A/B-tests each and every potential new feature and only implements features that notably lead to higher engagement — and some features don’t actually make all that much sense. For example, one could argue that a pure on-demand service doesn’t really need a live Twitter stream, as the viewing experience is largely asynchronous.
But Grenier’s app mockup is nonetheless food for thought — and proof that there is still a lot media services can experiment with on mobile devices.

OmmWriter for iPad Review
Among the common and major word-processor features notably absent are: If you're used to using Microsoft Word, or even Apple's relatively svelte Pages, the list of what's “missing” could go on and on, but that's the point: OmmWriter for the iPad,

I can't find a way to enter symbols, like the degrees symbol for instance on my iPad using pages.
I don't there is a degrees symbol. I would just write out the word.
I go on the thing on iTunes that shows all of the screens on my iPad and Pages isn't on there but it's on the bar to the left and it's whited out. What can I do to get it on my iPad?
Sounds like you have a pages document loaded on your iPad. You would need the Pages Application on your iPad and it can be purchased through iTunes store.
In an appearance Tuesday on TODAY, Twitter CEO Dick Costolo revealed a new look for Twitter's profile pages. The fresh take won't just be seen on twitter.com, either, but will be visible on mobile apps as well, including Twitter's all-new, totally rebuilt iPad app.
What's the biggest change? There's now a huge header image that runs across the top, sort of like the banner image that Facebook users have on their timelines. The page itself has been reoriented to play up other visuals as well: Your avatar is no longer tucked in the corner, but will display front and center. The photo stream, too, has been moved up, and will now be accessible on the apps.
Here are "before" and "after" looks at the TODAY Twitter page:
The rollout of the new profile pages has already begun, so you should be able to opt-in now by going to your Twitter page. Eventually, all users will have to switch over to the new look. That won't be enforced immediately, however, but it could potentially take place in the coming months.
That new iPad app
The folks at Twitter are especially excited about the new iPad app, because now you'll be able to "view photos in fullscreen and swipe through them really easily," said the company in a statement to TODAY.
