great classroom tool
Got this for my classroom after seeing it used with an ipad. Setup is very easy and resolution was as good or better than the ELMO document readers used at school. Also highly recommended for teachers sharing specific book pages or excerpts, anchor writing work, and images from an individual book. And those beetles on a screen or smartboard!

Could be five stars
Image quality is excellent.I was surprised by it's depth of field.The stand works extremely well. I use cameras like this for imaging small parts or damaged components on circuit boards.The autofocus has some issues with macro shots but nothing really significant. If it really doesn't like the image scene you can put a piece of printed paper over your target, let it focus, and then turn off the autofocus.Major complaint: no video capture software. The camera can source good video. The software provided has a live mode so it is processing live video but will not save it. They also don't recommend any third party software(Video conference stuff but no simple video capture). I just checked their website and they not only didn't respond about this issue but pulled my query. They appear to only have completely positive reviews. That is not surprising but means that one can't trust the reviews posted to give an accurate picture.So it's a great little still...

Great little camera
I use this very light, small camera to project the image of my Apple iPod touch when I am doing presentations. It works much better than a $400 document camera I had been using.

Teen witnesses murder of Mass. mom on iPad camera, prosecutor says

The details were released in Woburn District Court on Monday as Christopher Piantedosi was arraigned on a murder charge in the death of Kristen Pullisciano.

A prosecutor said Piantedosi chased Pullisciano into their daughter's bedroom and stabbed her 34 times Thursday in Burlington. The person the daughter had been video chatting with saw and heard parts of the attack.

Authorities say the couple had a longtime relationship but were not living together at the time.

According to CBS Boston , the prosecutor says during the attack the teen's friend heard Pulisciano pleading, "Chris, please stop, I love you," and Piantedosi saying, "You're going to die."

Their teenage daughter called 911.

It was also revealed in court Monday that Piantedosi attempted suicide earlier in the week but was hospitalized and then released the day before the attack, CBS Boston reports.

Piantedosi was ordered held without bail. He is due back in court June 7 for a probable cause hearing.

What if Apple's HDTV Is a Dud?

) Is in the process of giving Google TV another go. Korea's LG -- the world's second largest manufacturer of televisions -- is confirming that it will roll out smart TVs fueled by Google TV later this month.

We all know had badly the first generation flopped. Google had marquee partners attached to the launch, but the dot-com darling fumbled its end of the bargain. The interface was too limited and not intuitive enough, though that has been largely corrected through eventual software updates. The bigger problem -- and one that remains a sticking point -- is that Google has failed to play nice with the content creators.

Google TV wanted to do to televisions what Android did to smartphones, but the market dynamics have never been the same. Developers race to have their apps ported and made available on Android. Video creators, on the other hand, want tighter control of how their content is being consumed.

Will Apple be able to roll out a TV that plays broadcaster and network streams? Will Apple succeed in rolling out the ideal television service where folks only pay for the channels and content they watch?

It's not a matter of seeing how big Apple dreams. Unlike smartphones, where app developers want the same thing that consumers wants -- access -- there's a disconnection between what video consumers want and what video creators are offering.
